I have opened a support request on this issue.
Default port is 8443. Using an SSL cert signed by our certificate authority (not using the self signed cert.) This has been working fine for weeks.
Today I tried changing the port to 443
./changeWebServerPort.sh 443 https
I restarted MESD but was unable to login. The "netstat" command showed that nothing was listening on either port 443 or 8443. After looking at what the changeWebServerPort.sh script was trying do I manually updated the following files to change the port from 8443 to 443
This seems to work. I can login on 443 and my mail notifications show the correct URL.
It looks like the changeWebServerPort.sh also tries to create a new SSL key pair which may have been part of the problem.
However I now have intermittent errors when trying to save things in purchase orders or assets.
e.g "sorry - an error has occurred"
I also got a notification e-mail that "Critical : Error while invoking backup"
The message includes "java.io.FileNotFoundException: /usr/local/ManageEngine/ServiceDesk/backup/backup_postgres_9238_database_01_25_2017_17_16/filelist."
