Problems I have with SupportCenter Plus (build 7007)
Problems I have with the ticketing system:
1. Mail fetching stops randomly. It's usually when it tries to reply to an email address that it can't reach. When I look in the system log the reason is usually something like "Error setting DELETED flag to the message with subject : (the ticket's subject). SO STOPPING THE THREAD
2. There is no option to set the system to NOT reply to certain contacts. Many of the messages that we get are from automated mailers which don�t have mailboxes. The email address might be something like "donotreply@domain.com" or "automated-mailer@domain.com". When the system sends an automated response to those addresses it results in a bounceback.
3. The system doesn't seem to know when it�s in a bounceback loop. If it gets a bounceback from an invalid address like I mentioned above, it replies to that address to let it know that the ticket has been updated. That results in another bounce and the loop continues.
4. If an unknown user submits a request they get a response informing them that a ticket has been submitted and to follow a link. When they click that link, it asks for a username and password which they will not have. It would make more sense for the system to look for their contact info in contacts, and if they're not listed it should automatically assign a temporary username and password so they can look at that ticket.
