Problem with thresholds
Hello,
I have one little problem with alarm generation. I am managing the network throughput of one of my machine (TX). I set the threshold level to 5000, but I know that periodicaly, it can be 6000 or 6500 during 2 or 3 minutes. I check the level every minutes and i ask OpManager to generate an alarm only if threshold is violated 10 consecutive times. The notification profile of this machine send me an e-mail when an alarm is generated.
In the reallity OpManager send me an e-mail as the threshold is violated 2 time. That is too short and i receive a lot of e-mail, as throughput go many time over 5000bps.
Why OpManager don't wait for 10 minutes ?
