Problem with SNMP polling after server restart

Problem with SNMP polling after server restart

I am having an issue with OpManager 8 (build 8021) installed on a windows 2003 server. We have scheduled restarts of our servers every Sunday and after the restarts the OpManager services are started automatically. You can access Opmanager client and any of the devices, but none of the SNMP polling is taking place. All of the graphs and data stop at the time of the server reboot. I can workaround this issue by restarting the OpManager services an additional time, login to OpManager, select a deivice, select a performance monitor (edit mode) and test the SNMP connection. Once this is performed for one device, then all of the servers and SNMP polls are captured automagically. Does anyone know why this would be happening and do you have any suggestions to prevent these manual steps? One Note..this was previously installed on a Windows XP machine and after the restarts this never happened. Suspect that this is an issue with OpManager running on Windows 2003.

Thanks-

Bob
