Problem running OPManager MSP on a Vmware machine
Hello Support:
I am in an evaluation phase and I am having some difficulties running OPManager MSP Central (Latest version) on a VMWare machine (Windows 2003 server standard built inside an ESX 3.5 server). The installation went well without any errors. However, when I try to launch the application I get the following error:
Webserver port # is occupied. Please stop the apache and its dependent processes and then start the server.
I get this error regardless of the port # I use during installation (I have tried 5 different ports 433, 444, 445, 53389, 43389 and I get the same error).
The application installs and runs fine on a physical machine with the same operating system "windows 2003 server", but this is not what I want (I want to run it on a VM as we are consolidating all our servers on a VMware environment)
Is the application supported on a vmware? If so please point me to the right direction on how to get it working.
