Problem in importing from Active Directory

Problem in importing from Active Directory

While importing users from AD I suddenly have lost connection to the application, and of course AD. We have about 3500 users to import and I never come through with all those. Sometimes I get 4 00 user, next time 1000 users.

Any idea what's wrong?
