Problem in configuring Office365 account for SDP

Good afternoon,
I've the following problem: we're in process of migrating our mail system to O365 and I need to migrate also the dedicated mail used in SDP to generate ticket. I'm doing some tests with a new email and I'm able to configure the outgoing mail to work properly, but I've the strange problem that in ingoing settings I receive the bad username/password. Those parameters are correct, I can use that in outgoing, I'm able to reach outlook,office365.com in telnet. I can connect to the test email in OWA and if I configure it in Outlook it works fine. I also tried also with my email with the same error. Truly I don't know how to fix this.
