Hi,

We have a problem with our OpManager installation.

I have scanned our network, and I have ended up with 4 ESXi hosts and a vCenter, in the Unknown category.

When I'm doing a rediscovery, I get the error message: "Failed to connect the VMware HostWebService (Device may not be reachable / Credentials may be wrong)".

I have verified and tried the following:

1) The server OpManager runs on, is able contact the ESXi hosts.

2) Firewall in ESXi is set to allow port 443 and server is not in lockdown mode.

3) Timeout for the credentials has been set to 300 seconds.

4) I'm able to login to the MOB, and the name property is string, with the correct hostname for the value.

5) Remove the host from OpManager and do a rediscovery with both hostname and IP.

The strange thing really, is that I have succesfully added a total of 41 other hosts, without any problems...

I'm running OpManager v10 (10200).
