Possible to change Request ID as another word yet still able to link into cloud sdp?

Hi, I would like to change the word "Request ID" to another wording under the reply template. 
SDP allow to type & do changes, but there is a disclaimer at below:

"Note : Re: [Request ID :##$RequestId##] - has been prefixed to the subject in reply. Please don't remove this prefix from the subject. This helps to correlate the responses from the helpdesk and the requester under the same request as conversations, instead of creating multiple requests."

I did tried to change it become something else, such as [ReqID :####], sometimes when i reply an email, it will link to the original case, but sometimes it will treat the reply as a new case, new ticket ID.
This same if we were to create a case with an existing ID, but it won't like to the original case log of the existing ID. 

Kindly advise.
