Hello,
after updating my Patch Manager Plus server to 11.5.2622.08, last month, I noticed several issues that did not exist in the previous version.
Server Version
Agent Versions
After I manually deploy patches, some endpoints require a reboot, which is expected.
I do not use automatic reboot policies. I always reboot the affected systems manually after patch deployment.
However, after the reboot, the endpoints never disappear from the "System must be restarted" list.
At this point, almost all of my managed Windows clients are shown in this list, although all patches have been installed successfully and the systems have already been rebooted.
Running a patch scan after the reboot does not solve the problem.
I also noticed that the following information seems to no longer update correctly:
In the previous Patch Manager Plus version, this information was always updated correctly after a patch scan.
Patch scanning and patch installation itself work without any problems.
The issue can be reproduced on multiple Windows endpoints.
If I had to guess, I would say this may be related to the current agent rather than the server or the console. It looks like the agent does not report the updated status correctly after the reboot.
Of course, this is only my assumption.
Can anyone confirm the same behavior with version 11.5.2622.08 ?
Thank you.
