I'd like to request a feature for the Assets Module, that would allow us to populate fields based on other information already contained within asset details.  This could be used to populate both standard and custom fields.  This would be useful in populating fields that are not typically picked up by asset scans, and also would help in populating fields that might often be overwritten by future asset scans.

An example of what I am referring to would be something like this:

- If an asset is within the following IP range, then set the site to "Office XXXXX"

- If product type is XXXX, then set vendor equal to Vendor ABC

We could find many uses for this, as well as help with some of the current limitations of the assets module.
