Populate Installed Software List for Asset
I'm working on a new workflow for building and installing new computers that are replacing old ones.
I'd like to find a way to pull a list of all installed software that is on the current (old) computer so our tech knows what to install on the new computer.
If possible, I'd like for this to go to a text field. Creating that and adding to the form is easy enough. We categorize our software in assets, so any software we actually want to know about would have a software type of "Required" and/or "Licensed".
I figure we can add the old computer to the Asset field of the ticket.
Would this feature be possible with the tools currently available? Right now I'm on Version 14.1 Build 14104 (MSSQL)
