pop and smtp over ssl - gmail

I am also trying to use Servicedesk with SSL for both POP and SMTP.
Gmail only supports connectivity via SSL. I am running Servicedesk SDP Version : 7.0.0 Build 7010.

How can i turn on SSL for the ServiceDesk Email Fetch Settings?
