This has been going on for years with no fix. There is no point why you cannot do both of the following

A) Have a setting to NOT CACHE hostnames so you can easily just update the dns w/ new ips

B) update the IP of a server via the GUI

Since we run on AWS our IP's change constantly and has become so laborious and error prone of updating IP's applications manager is now no longer functional

Support & product management refuse to address or comment on how the plan on addressing.
