I am wondering where the photo is stored in AD when a user uploads one in ADSelfservicePlus?

Adding the photo into ADSS does not seem to put in the "thumbnailPhoto" attribute in AD. This would be the sensible place as all the other MS products look for a photo there..???

I did ask this question in a email with the following response:

" One technical question, the photo that can be uploaded – is that held in the ADSelfService system or in Active Directory?  

A:  the photo that are uploaded will be store in both ADSelfService and in Active Directory."

So which attribute?
