pfx ssl on OpManager central and probes
Morning,
I was having issues getting my wildcard cert installed on OpManager central and had to call in tech support to get it running properly.
Unfortunately for me I wasn't watching close enough and I am having the same issue on the probes.
After we got Central up and running the probes stopped communicating and we were told that the probes need to be on SSL as well.
Probe Name MachineName Status Devices Interfaces Load (p/s) LastContactTime
gwretail OPMPROBE02 Communication lost 115 1509 11.29 19 Aug 2015 12:07:55 PM CDT
Following this procedure

and running
C:\ManageEngine\OpManagerProbe\bin>ssl_gen.bat -f Enable
that command generates
keytool error: java.io.IOException: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect (I know the password was typed properly
and there is an error in the tomcat log

SEVERE: Failed to initialize end point associated with ProtocolHandler ["http-bio-0.0.0.0-80"]
java.io.IOException: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect
Caused by: java.security.UnrecoverableKeyException: Password verification failed
I'd appreciate any direction or a procedure that works
