Greetings!

We recently performed a major upgrade of our ServiceDesk Plus installation, all the way from version 11 to the most recent build of version 14 (14103). One of the behavioral/design changes that stood out to us, is that the global search box is no longer persistent in the user interface header. You now have to click the search button first, which expands the search box to cover (almost) the entire header:

This is not a functional problem, but has proven to be an annoyance/inconvenience for many of our technicians. We make extensive use of the global search function, and now an extra mouse click is required every time just to open the search box, covering all the module navigation links in the process. When a search has been performed, you have to click the search button again just to see the query that was just entered, adding confusion regarding what you're currently looking at.

So our question is, can this behavior be modified to show a persistent global search box again in 14103?
