Performance of Service Desk on Chrome and Edge

Hi 
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that service desk is running like a dog on Chrome and Edge, especially after open for a few hours.
We are on prem, have about 20GB associated to VM, so I don't think the issue is server side.
