Performance Monitor - Router and Switches Interface
I need to activate some more performance monitor on some of our routers and switches that we are currently monitoring. However I need to setup the threshold levels of each or some of the performance monitors options. Do you have a baseline document that can help/guide me in setting out the threshold levels alert and rearm values. Recommended settings for
Drop Events Statistics,
Oversize Packets, Undersized Packets,
Total No. of Collisions and so on.
Got a mixture of L2 and L3 Cisco and HP switches and Cisco routers that I'm currently monitoring but need to do performance monitor only on the core switches and routers
Be great if someone could point me to a document with all these recommended performance monitor settings.
