It's by far my favorite product, however I'm trying to determine why I'm consistently facing 7+ second delays when;

- entering a username to enroll

- entering a username to reset a password/unlock account

- entering an answer+CAPTCHA to continue login as a user

Now, I've read these forums and checked all the standard things (FQDN for DC's, a live and local DC being at the top of your list, correct ports being opened etc).

I've ensured everything here is correct.

I have built out a brand new domain (with a single DC), and a brand new ADSSP box, both on the same subnet, in the same physical location.

I've given the ADDSP server 8GB RAM and 8 cores.

I've tried converting the DB to SQL (using SQL Express 2016).

Nothing seems to make a difference. This is definitely not a traffic or other network issue. It almost seems like ADSSP is just sitting there, waiting for something internal.

Are there any obvious suggestions I'm potentially missing? As I'm not a customer, I appreciate I'm not entitled to support, but at the same time, if I can't get the product working correctly, I will have to look elsewhere.

I am running version 5.3 on Windows Server 2012R2. Build number 5135.
