PC Redundancy/Duplicates in Inventory
Is there a way to automatically search for redundant computers by mac address or computer name? We have a situation where our desktop image is built with the Desktop Central agent installed (so it's there when deploying PCs). These PCs automatically report to the DC server and get added to DC inventory before they're added to the domain. They when the get added to domain, they report again creating a duplicate inventory entry. Is there a utility or option to filter duplicates out? Perhaps by serial number, mac address, ip address or hostname?
