Patch Management IP Scope

I haven't been able to find an answer to this in any KB. We have quite a few remote offices and have set up IP Scopes so the agents communicate to the appropriate server. We have end users who travel between offices (global company) when they arrive in another location and receive an IP from that location is the agent smart enough to switch to that remote office server and when they return to their office switch back? 

I assume as long as the IP Scopes are setup correctly this is how it works but wanted to be sure.
