Programming for patch deployment doesn't seem intuitive.
I'm doing Patch Mgmt -> All Systems
I want to do
Remote Office = Distribution Server
AND
Custom Group != Exceptions
My intent is to get all the computers on that server then exclude the small group of exceptions.
I suspect when adding the Custom Group != the programming is first verifying that there is a custom group present then excluding those in MO_Exceptions. This isn't intuitive. Not all of my computers are in are in a custom group nor need to be. I just need to be able to pull a list of all computers on that server then exclude about a dozen.
It seems silly that I would have to add all the computers on that server to a custom group so I can then exclude the exceptions.
Current solution is to select the server then manually uncheck the 10 PCs. This is very tedious.
