Patch deployment not working?
I just installed Desktop Central for our organization. I just created an "Automate Patch Deployment" task. It has the following settings:
Schedule: Daily at 5:00pm
Deployment Option: Scan, download, and deploy
Selected Updates: Security, Non Security
Selected Severity: Important, Critical
Installation Time: As soon as possible
Installation Option: Install during computer startup or during 90 minutes refresh interval
Reboot Policy: System will not be rebooted after installation
Deployment Progress: Show deployment progress in the client computers
Deployment Policy: Continue deployment even if some patches cannot be downloaded
This task is being deployed to about 3 computers--for testing purposes. Nothing seems to have happened last night when I set this up. For each computer is lists the Scan Status as "Not Done" and the Deploy Status as "Yet to Deploy." All the computers are missing a small handful of updates, and all the missing updates have been approved. Is there another step involved in setting this up?
