Passwords Stored in Op Manager 7.0
Hello,
I'm wondering how passwords are saved in Op Manager. We are using a higher level account to authenticate against our servers and wondered how secure those passwords were in the Op Manager database.
Does the account set in the dashboard of domain controllers need to be a domain admin or would a domain account with limited rights work. Were running a Microsoft Windows 2000 domain with Microsoft Windows 2003 standard servers mixed in as well.
We want to ensure that if our op manager server was stolen or compromised the account and password would be easier accessed.
