"Password is in sync" when the target is not in the DNS
Hi,
We are using PMP build 6903 (also tested with PMP 7000) and I found a very annoying bug: Password verification with a non existent DNS name always succeed
How to reproduce:
1- setup a linux or solaris resource.
2- setup password sync
3- check that passwords are in sync
4- NOW, edit the DNS Name of the resource and put something that is not in the DNS
5- start a 'verify password'
6- => Bug: PMP says that password are in sync, but it has not actually checked, since connection was impossible.
