I am trying to figure out a way to pass an OID name to a notification, so they are more meaningful!
For instance, right now, I receive a message that says:
Message: taitTN8291RemoteNodeUpEvent is received from x.x.x.x.20000000001 with the following related information : sysUpTime.0: 188 days, 1 hours, 46 minutes, 38 seconds. , snmpTrapOID.0: .1.3.6.1.4.1.3570.3.3.3.0.20 , .1.3.6.1.4.1.3570.3.3.2.7.1.1.6.5: 3 , .1.3.6.1.4.1.3570.3.3.2.7.1.1.7.5: 2 , .1.3.6.1.4.1.3570.3.3.2.7.1.1.3.5: 1 , .1.3.6.1.4.1.3570.3.3.2.7.1.1.4.5:
R ,
Device: <The Device Name Goes Here>
Category: No Detail
Error Condition: Critical

What I would like to see, is something more along the lines of not the OID itself, but the name associated with it. If I use the MIB Browser, I can see the common name of the MIB, but the alerts never show for this particular set of devices.
This would increase our ability to see and determine the criticality of an alert, if we know something was just switching, versus controlling.
I'm not very confident in OpManager, but I can fumble my way through it. So specific examples of how-to's are great!
Thanks for any help I can get!
