Outlook integration failing

We have a problem with the Outlook integration to SupportCenter plus.
The initial sync works fine, and additional sync with new contacts works as well.
Syncs involving updates to existing contacts however fail with the following messages in the log:

[2007-09-21 13:47:38] - mapping outlook and supportcenter for contactsync
[2007-09-21 13:47:38] - creating sync mappings for outlook and supportcenter

[2007-09-21 13:47:38] - reading conflict in outlook and supportcenter
[2007-09-21 13:47:38] - reading conflict in outlook and supportcenter -- successfull
[2007-09-21 13:47:38] - reading ol and supportcenter for sync contactsync -- successfull
[2007-09-21 13:47:40] - contactsync started between outlook and supportcenter
[2007-09-21 13:47:40] - reading all new supportcenter contacts
[2007-09-21 13:47:40] - reading all modified supportcenter contacts
[2007-09-21 13:47:40] - reading all deleted supportcenter contacts
[2007-09-21 13:47:40] - reading all new outlook contacts
[2007-09-21 13:47:40] - creating supportcenter contacts
[2007-09-21 13:47:40] - com.adventnet.persistence.dataaccessexception: [requester] exception occured while inserting rows
It seems like its failing on inserts only.
