Outlook Actionable Messages - Supported Notifications
In the guide for configuring Outlook Actionable Messages it is mentioned that only certain notification types are supported:
- Acknowledge requester by e-mail when a new request is received.
- Alert the following technician(s) by e-mail when a new request is created.
- Alert technician by e-mail when a request is assigned.
So if I am reading this correctly, this means that actionable messages are not available for the following notification types:
- Alert(or Notify) technician by e-mail when there is a new reply for the request.
- Alert group members by e-mail when a new request is added to the group.
- Alert group members by e-mail when a request is left unpicked in a group.
Is my understanding here correct? And are there plans to expand the functionality of actionable messages to include some of these other notification types? As it stands this is an incredibly limited feature, as the "following technician(s)" notifications doesn't really work well for any setup with multiple groups. Further, the ability to pick up a request via actionable messages is great, but one of the only supported notifications is for when a request is assigned.
