OS Deployer 3 to multiple sys over the Network
Using this product, what is the best approach to accomplishing the following real world example?:
- Campus environment
- OS Deployer Server on same subnet as DHCP server serving all campus computers (not same server, just same subnet)
- Campus computers currently running a Windows OS
- Unable to physically go to each computer to force PXE boot or use bootable media, so that's not an option.
- Need to deploy a new master image to all campus computers without PXE or bootable media
Is this possible using the windows ManageEngine OS Deployer Managment Agent? Does this agent work similar to Symantec Ghost in that it can reboot the remote machine and force in to boot into the OS Deployer Agent that will then allow me to deploy an image with a Template? Thank you.
