Oracle monitor is OK even if database is down
Good day,
It seems that when the Oracle database is reachable, but in a shutdown state, the Oracle monitor doesn't report any errors.
Here is the message in the top of the Oracle monitor page :
Unable to connect to Oracle Server.
Error Message :
ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in progress
This is not good of course. Is there a way to fix this?
We're using build 7410 on Linux.
