OpManager unable to start when using MSSQL

OpManager unable to start when using MSSQL

Hi ManageEngine,

We have tried to install OpManager with MS SQL as the database, but with no luck. We have tried it with MS SQL 2022 Express and MS SQL 2019 Standard. Both have not worked. However, when we install it with PostgreSQL, it works fine.

How should our MS SQL installation be setup to be used with OpManager? It is also unclear which version of MSSQL is to be used. We have followed the information on setting up MSSQL here: https://www.manageengine.com/network-monitoring/help/hardware-and-software-requirements.html#microsoftsql but it still does not work.

We can't even find any log files that indicate why the service will not start. Any advice would be appreciated.
