OpManager to ServiceDeskPlus relationship - Device Names

One of the advantages of having OpManager and ServiceDeskPlus is the ability to integrate the two products. Unfortunately, the scanning engine appears to extract data differently creating confusion between the products.

When running a device scan in the OpManager, the device name is not always the same as when a device scan is run in ServiceDeskPlus. This creates problems when trying to access the ServiceDeskPlus Asset information from within OpManager. If I change the name in one product to match the other product, the link is present but as soon as the device is scanned / updated again, the name changes and the links are lost. This is very frustrating. 

The Asset Sync details options in OpManager > Add-On/Product Integration Page are

Auto Sync: Yes
Merge OpManger Asset details with SDP : YES

(BTW - There is a typo here as it says OpManger and not OpManager on this page)
