OpManager stops after sometime and does nothing

Few of OpManager customers have reported that OpManager stops after sometime and does nothing ie user will be able to login to the client but no status polling or data collection will be happenning. We were trying hard to reproduce this issue for the past one week but with less success. But now we were able to reproduce the issue with a database from customer's installation and we are analyzing the root cause of this issue.

Once we fix the issue, we will be releasing a patch to resolve them. Kindly bear with us till the fix is available. We will keep you posted when the patch will be released.

As a short term workaround (which again may not wholly fix the issue) is to increase the memory and run the server again. To increase the memory please follow the below steps -

1. Stop the server.
2. Run the "ChangeMemorySize.bat/sh" in "OpManager Home/bin" directory as

ChangeMemorySize.bat 100 <New Memory size>

100 refers to the current memory size while the <New Memory size> can be of higher value based on the system resource available.

3. Start the server using the "StartOpManagerServer.bat/sh" script file in "OpManager Home/bin" directory in command prompt.
