OPMANAGER - Problem with replication
Hi friends,
I´m facing a problem with the replication between two machines with the OpManager failover installed.
The problem is (Consider that all services are running normally):
--> When I simulate a hard shutdown in the Primary Server the standby server assumes the application normally and after this when i try to get back the Primary Server services the same starts normally and tell to the Standby Server that is everything ok now and the Standby Server come back to monitoring the Primary Server again but suddenly the same start the failover task again! it´s strange because the Primary Server still alive!
So I have now two Opmanager Standalone servers, I mean they are not replicating the data each other!
To make this I´ve made the steps below:
1-) Install the Opmanager as a Stand Alone server in the OPMANAGER1
2-) After this I started the service that ran normally
3-) Install the Opmanager as a Standby Server in the OPMANAGER2 with the right credentials of the Primary Server
4-) I did follow the steps to create a replication
5-) Start all the services
6-) Simulate a hard Shutdown in the OPMANAGER1
7-) The Standby Server assumes the application normally
8-) Get back the Primary services again
9-)The Standby Server (OPMANAGER2) understood that the Primary Server goes up and become a standby again
10-) Suddenly the Standby Server start the failover tasks and becoming the new primary server.
Observation: When I try to restart the services on OPMANAER2 (Standby Server) there is a process called "inside addon check" that get 10 minutes to be terminated and after this the server become a Standalone application like OPMANAGER1 (Primary Server) and it is not correct!
I hope that I explained everything to you.
Thanks for your attention!!!
