OpManager NCM Plug-in Build 5500 Released
Hi,
We are glad to announce the release of OpManager NCM Plug-in build 5500. We take this opportunity to thank all our customers and users for their feedback and the continued support.
New Features & Enhancements
- Support for MSSQL back-end (Note: If you are looking to make use of MSSQL back-end, please upgrade to OpManager 8.7 and apply the latest version of NCM Plug-in over that).
- Support for additional Syslog message formats for real time change detection for Cisco and Enterasys devices
- Support for installing the NCM Plug-in Windows 64-bit machines

- Sphereon 4500 Fibre Channel Switch
- Juniper EX4200 Switch
- Allied Telesis AT-8000S Switch
Bug Fixes & Changes
- Earlier, when audit trails cleanup operation was in progress, performance issues cropped. This has been fixed
- Earlier, there were issues in deleting devices having a large number of configuration versions. This has been fixed
- Issues related to backing up the configurations of Radware devices fixed
- User prompt mismatch issues in Cisco Nexus devices fixed
- SysLocation population issue for Radware LinkProof switches fixed
- Earlier, there were issues in backing up the configuration of Citrix NetScaler devices using SCP protocol. This has been fixed.

Upgradepack for Existing Customers
Those who are using NCM Plug-in v 5420 and 5450 can upgrade to 5500 by applying upgrade pack(s) available in the URL below (Upgrade instructions are also available in the same page):

IMPORTANT NOTE: Take a copy of <opmanager-home>/mysql folder and save it somewhere. If something goes wrong with the upgrade, you may rely on the contents of the copy
