OpManager MSP and SD+ related questions
Hi all.
We are running SD+ quite happily (even though we have multiple clients we chose SD+ over SC)
1 Can we run SD+ and OM MSP on the same server?
2 What is the running over head for MSP? I know the min specs but I am trying to see if we can put OM central on an SBS2003 server for example.
3 Is the overhead the same for the probe servers as well? I am trying to work out if a client will notice degradation of the server performance.
4 re the ports, if port 443 is already being used what are others using please?
5 Just a suggestion, with all of the port numbers we have to try and remember, how about 6762 for OpManager, 6762 = "opma" on a phone keypad and would make it easier to remember.
6 We want to monitor our own network (the one that the OM server will be connected on) using OM MSP, do we do this with a probe or does the programme automatically recognise the local network and scan it?
