Opmanager Milestone 4 Issuses
I have now installed the new Milestone 4 release and it starts to look more like a complete package. But there are still some more issues to finish.
1. When trying to copy back already collected data back to ..MySQL\Data
from an earlier version, it seems to be impossible. Even running all the fix db
scripts gives only lots of java-errors and its impossible to start the OpManager
server. Only solution is to reinitalize server & re-discover all the device again.
2. When its comes to re-discovery, I think it now behave even more poor to find
the devices. Like before it found like 11 devices, now only 4 devices.
Maybe one of the problem is ex. finding Sonic Wall firewall, which use same
port (443) as same for the Milestone release. Could that be any conflict?
It doesn't help to add the missing devices manually either..
3. Finally about the webclient logon and automatic refresh issue. Now there it's
possible to select 'Remember Me' on the logon screen, then you don't have to
type user/password again when the 'Automatically Refresh' times out, but that
will only be very annoying every time it times out. So this should be more
logical and be possible to set to Automatically refresh and Never expires at
once.
