OPManager HA same ip address subnet requirement

OPManager HA same ip address subnet requirement

Hi,
a customer is asking if it is possible to use OPManager High Availability with machines in different subnets.
(the same question is for PMP HA too).
It is possible? There is some documentation that explain why this is necessary, to justify the requirement with the customer?
