OpManager gets Authentication Failure with Server 2003
We have been testing OpManager for some time now. The only problem we are running into is that OpManager gets an SNMP Authenitcation Error message when accessing windows server 2003 boxes. We have several servers here that we cannot pull information from that are running 2003. So this would be a problem that needs to be resolved with a patch or diagnosis.
On the 2003 servers, the SNMP service is setup with the correct community strings and host ip address of OpManager. OpManager is also setup with the correct community strings etc. So this is not the problem. Unless there is a more specific configuration that needs to be done, but the procedure we use matches our windows 2000 server boxes and these we can access with no problems.
