Opmanager EE Installation
I'm having trouble installing Opmanger EE 5.6. I'm trying to install both the NOC and the Probe on the same server and only one will install correctly...the second install will break both installs.
I install the Central server first on port 443. I can access the server by https://localhost and I have a probes tab. There is nothing under the probes tab or anything under the Maps tab. I am unable to Add any devices from the Admin Tab because I get a:
dms.topo.actions.addnode.dmsName.notSpecified
The Probe dropdown field is blank.
When I install the Probe on the same server I choose a different port (I've tried 8080, 4443 and 8008) but as the install goes through it uninstalls portions of the Central install. Example, it uninstalls the wrapper.exe and the database. I've tried installations in different directories, and different physical drives and yet it still uninstalls components. When the install completes, I am unable to log on to the Probe or the Central server. I receive a "Page Cannot be Displayed" error. The services won't start for ManageEngine OpManager Central because the wrapper.exe file has been moved due to the Probe install. The MangeEngine OpManager Probe service starts briefly but crashes a few seconds after it successfully launches.
Another odd thing is that the Start menu icons for OpManager EE Central disappears and the OpManager EE Probe are incomplete (No startserver option). There is only 1 Uninstall in Add/Remove Programs for the Probe and the Central has to be re-installed and uninstalled again.
Is there any documentation for this product? A specific installation order or prerequisits that need to be done before I try to install the product?
