OpManager doesn't show all received traps
Hi,
I have been using OpManager to receive traps from Cisco Systems ASR5000 Intelligent Mobile Gateway (Starent GGSN).
The traps have been configured by loading a MIB. The problem is that some traps exists in SNMP trap parser file but somehow are not recognized and displayed in any of alarm lists. I have checked "All alarms" and " Unsolicited traps" but couldn't find them. To prove this I have started Wireshark trace on OpManager server. From trace you can see followong two traps:
1.3.6.1.4.1.8164.2.76 - starCGFDead - critical
1.3.6.1.4.1.8164.2.77 - starCGFLive - clear
The first one has been displayed in Alarms list but there was no second one. So, the 2nd trap has been delivered ( can be seen from the trace) but hasn't been showen by OpManager.
Do you know for this problem and is there any solution or workaround for this? Please let me know if you need some more logs to fix this problem.
