OpManager Database Questions
I have some questions on Opmanager database platforms. Currently we are running OpManager 7021 with a MS-SQL 2000 backend managing 235 servers, 151 switches and 35 routers (still more coming). Here are my questions:
1. Is Opmanager optimized for MySQL?
2. Would Opmanager perform better if the database server and the OpManager application is on the same dedicated platform?
3. Has anyone had experience with the Database platform running on a VM?
4. It seems backwards but if we wanted to convert the existing SQL database to MySql does Opmanager have a tool/script to support that?
