I am trying to see if there is a way to generate an SDP ticket, or even just send an email from an alarm in the alarms panel.
Not an automatic one, that's part of the notification profile, and works fine.
But when we find an alarm in opmanager that needs to be turned into a ticket for someone to work on, we have to do it manually.
Eg. Our operations desk see an alarm that needs investigation, and want to generate a fault ticket in SDP to assign it to someone.
I have tried using workflow, but the workflow rules force you to set a specific device, and doesn't seem to have the option of using the variable for the device that the alarm is related to ${DeviceName}
Hopefully there is an easy way to do this.
