Opmanager 7 - Various Problems

Downloaded OM7 , which is very good but have a few frustrating problems.
When reporting alarms from ports on our Catalyst 6500's it doesnt give a meaningful name or even the ifindex. So all ports are identfied as cat3/5 this is not all very useful.

Certain characters are not allowed in the Dispaly Name field, but these are imported from the device, its only when you go to manage the ports that you get told you cant have that character
Display Name
Serial1/0:0 - doesnt like the : So I have just spent 2 hours editing 1024 lines - not good !
Cannot add the same monitor to multiple Cisco devices
