Opmanager 10, IBM BladeCenter Cisco Hardware Sensors

Opmanager 10, IBM BladeCenter Cisco Hardware Sensors

Upgraded to Omanager 10 yesterday.  Appreciate the fixes.  However posting regarding every bladecenter we have (5) alerting for Cisco BladeCenter Switch Hardware Sensor Alerts.  "Hardware Sensor Name : chassis. Category : fan. Current State : warning(2) - The sensor is operating outside the normal operating range"

Its unlikely that we truly have a problem with every blade switch, honestly I would not be surprised if these switches are fan-less, because of the monstrous fans which exist in the IBM Bladecenter chasis, where these slim-line switch modules are inserted..  At any rate, I'm thinking this implementation of  alerting for  the Cisco Hardware Sensor, for this particular switch type is a problem for us, as it is giving us a full page of Alarms, which really are not problem issues.

How can I turn off this particular hardware sensor monitor for these switches?

In Opmanager, the switch is identified as a Cisco Catalyst 3000, it is actually a hybrid.

.1.3.6.1.4.1.cisco.ciscoProducts.592  << Switch OID

I rediscovered one switch, which gives it the new type (we've had opmanager for years, so that explains having other device types)

However that did not prevent the alerts from reoccuring.
