OpManager 10 Hardware Monitoring - How Does It Work?

I'm hoping to get some more information on how the "out-of-the-box" hardware monitoring works for OpManager v10. After upgrading, it wasn't until some of my servers were reboot for Windows updates that I was suddenly able to see hardware information being gathered - so it works and is nice to have, thank you for adding it. But it only seems like a few of my physical servers actually reported hardware information, as there are still several without the Hardware Health and Hardware Report tab. Likewise, even those with collected hardware information seem to be missing information about things like hard drives and a few are missing power information.
If everything is done through SNMP, is there a set of OIDs I can test against each one of my servers to make sure the data is available? Does something need to be enabled on the server to allow this information to be available (I believe Dell OpenManage was required previously to gather this information via SNMP for Dell servers - is that no longer the case)? I can't seem to find much consistency in what's being gathered and what's not across any servers other than it's primarily Windows 2003 that seems to report something.
Otherwise things are being monitored correctly via SNMP, so I know the issue is not with credentials or network access.
