This will be our third iteration of monitoring systems. The first, Orion, used MSSQL hosted on a separate server, the current is NAGios that installs with MySQL on the box, but we had to migrate off to a separate instance running MariaDB or the server choked.  Will Opmanager Plus have similar issues and need the DB on it's own server?

If so, can the windows version, run off MySQL or Postgresql on a separate Linux instance?
