Office 365 Certificate Issue Mail Fetch
Hi Guys,
As many other people here we have an issue with the mail fetch function in Servicedesk Plus. The following error can be traced back to the logs:
Exception when connecting to store.|javax.mail.MessagingException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target;
nested exception is:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
After using the gencert.bat file with the command: gencert.bat office.outlook.com:995 the jssacert is generated without a problem. Upon adding it to the security directory the system works again. However this always is for 1 day till about 00:00 then it stops again and starts to give the same error. Is there a way to fix this problem. Or do I need to renew that PKIX cert everyday when using Office 365?
- Saving the settings after replacing the JSSE store gives no errors.
- Version 9.4 Build 9415
