Notifications not being sent when request is updated
Running SDP 7603, on Exchange 2003 and SQL2008.
We have Notifications enabled when requests are assigned and when they are updated.
What I am not getting sent are notifications to GROUPS when the request is updated which is rather frustrating. We have a workload of requests that are in group queues, the requester e-mails in asking for an update and it appears the team doesn't get notified. Worse part of this is when requests are on hold they disappear from the standard view so even if the lists are worked based on red envelopes and request on hold isn't obviously picked up.
Is this a bug that notifications aren't sent to groups when notify technician is enabled, or an interesting design feature! If the later how quickly can that be changed either as an additional option or as standard functionality, as I can't see why if a request is assigned just to a group you would not want the group notified if technician nofitication is enabled, essentially the group is the technician until it is picked.
